Sarajevo [Bosnia and Herzegovina], February 15: An elementary school in Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, suspended classes on Friday following a bomb threat reported in its sports hall, the school announced.
On Thursday evening, police received a report of a suspected explosive device inside the gymnasium of Silvija Strahimir Kranjcevic Elementary School. The venue was set to host a high school volleyball tournament at 6 p.m., but the event was postponed as a precaution.
Police deployed an anti-explosive unit to inspect the site, and investigations are ongoing.
The school confirmed that classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 17.
